I am a fully qualified PGA professional with a diverse background that enriches my coaching approach.
I began my journey in education, spending three years as a PE and Business Teacher at Bicester School. This period allowed me to develop my ability to communicate effectively, tailor my teaching methods to individual needs, and create engaging learning environments, which are skills that are invaluable in my golf coaching.
Driven by a passion for golf, I transitioned into the golf industry at Feldon Valley Golf Club, where I spent several years honing my skills in golf operations and customer service. This experience provided me with a strong foundation in the business side of golf.
Returning to my love of teaching and golf, I gained extensive hands-on experience as a golf coach assistant and then as a PGA Assistant at Wycombe Heights Golf Club, before becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional while at JD Golf Academy. During this time, I worked with golfers of all ages and abilities, from beginners to more experienced players, and developed a particular interest in custom fitting.
My educational background, including a degree in Sports Coaching and Physical Education and a PGCE in Physical Education, provides me with a deep understanding of the biomechanics of the golf swing and the principles of effective teaching.
My commitment to continuous learning and my passion for helping others make me an excellent golf coach.
